Doriva Simões was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Idacio Helguera showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 42 minute of play. Lia Saez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 53 played minutes CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Nilton Couto. Sabin Reyes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Doriva Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 55 minutes, Idacio Helguera made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Doriva Simões tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
