When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Casildo Galdamez took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Evaldas Grikšas to make any attempt to save it. In the 16th minute, Nicanor Valdés hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Absoliut's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Idacio Helguera scored to the left of an out of position Evaldas Grikšas, making the score, 3-0. With a little luck, Absoliut's Evaldas Grikšas got control of the ball when Idacio Helguera tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute Los romperredes F.C were awarded a corner. Jacob Valines went to the cornerflag to take it. Los romperredes F.C's Casildo Galdamez suffered a concussion in the 30th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 30 minutes into the game, Artūras Miežys was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Absoliut's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los romperredes F.C the free kick. Artūras Miežys hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute Idacio Helguera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaldas Grikšas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Los romperredes F.C's Fagondo Sampil got a free kick in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gražvydas Vaitiekus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Absoliut's Evaldas Grikšas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaskon Mayor in the 54th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vismantas Jaugėla couldn't finish the play. Gaskon Mayor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaldas Grikšas having to interfere. After 94 minutes, Idacio Helguera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los romperredes F.C and the Absoliut players grew even worse after the yellow card. Idacio Helguera kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Absoliut's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
