The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tarcisio Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vismantas Jaugėla in the 11th minute of the match. Absoliut's Evaldas Grikšas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Machado in the 15th minute of play. After 22 played minutes Absoliut got a freekick which was hit by Raimundas Apeikis. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Tiago Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. EDI MZB's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiago Machado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaldas Grikšas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vismantas Jaugėla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarcisio Gerber having to interfere. Vismantas Jaugėla hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Evaldas Grikšas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Machado in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Absoliut's goal looked a bit too open when Evandro Maia came free, but Evaldas Grikšas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th play minute Gražvydas Vaitiekus came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tarcisio Gerber. 1-0. 39 minutes into the match, Absoliut's goal looked a bit too open when Sidnei Fernandez came free, but Evaldas Grikšas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gražvydas Vaitiekus's late challenge caught a EDI MZB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gražvydas Vaitiekus helped the player get up and apologised. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
In the 52nd match minute, EDI MZB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Alves to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute of the match Gražvydas Vaitiekus shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tarcisio Gerber showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modestas Merkelis in the 59th minute of play forced EDI MZB's goalkeeper Tarcisio Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tarcisio Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gražvydas Vaitiekus, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A collision led to EDI MZB getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Evandro Maia hit a great ball. During the 67th minute of the match Gražvydas Vaitiekus completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gražvydas Vaitiekus a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 67th match minute, Absoliut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gražvydas Vaitiekus to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st match minute, Absoliut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemaras Dedura to maneuver through the defense. EDI MZB's Evandro Maia couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 71st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Absoliut. After 73 played minutes Absoliut got a freekick which was hit by Vladas Melekša. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Vismantas Jaugėla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Absoliut's supporters rose to their feet, but Vismantas Jaugėla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. But to his dismay, Tiago Machado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Vismantas Jaugėla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Tarcisio Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in EDI MZB's zone, Marius Zybartas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tarcisio Gerber came out of the goal and Marius Zybartas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th match minute, Absoliut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladas Melekša to maneuver through the defense. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
