Spectators: 7761 (Terracing: 5822, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ignacio Ebere kicked off to start the match. Baldomero Salomon hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 5 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Higinio Fernanco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dane Chamberlain. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignacio Ebere in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Malcolm Mcvey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Club El Progreso's Cayetano Brion got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 22nd minute Dane Chamberlain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Fernanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Artemio Hegoi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Amputees FC's Malcolm Mcvey. Malcolm Mcvey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Club El Progreso's Higinio Fernanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mitchell Burton in the 37th minute of play. With a little luck, Club El Progreso's Higinio Fernanco got control of the ball when Mitchell Burton tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Ebere in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Malcolm Mcvey saved Amputees FC from getting behind. Iggi Freel kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Club El Progreso's Pascual Gomesano tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dane Chamberlain struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Higinio Fernanco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amputees FC. After the first half Club El Progreso were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dane Chamberlain stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Higinio Fernanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dane Chamberlain, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 53 played minutes Club El Progreso got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Salomon. A collision led to Club El Progreso getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Baldomero Salomon hit a great ball. Iggi Freel kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the game, Bryant Coleman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amputees FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club El Progreso the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Dane Chamberlain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amputees FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dane Chamberlain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Higinio Fernanco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lorimer Monck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Fernanco having to interfere. Bryant Coleman scored 1-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Higinio Fernanco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Santi Rivero's late challenge caught a Amputees FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santi Rivero helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Club El Progreso getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Santi Rivero hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bryant Coleman in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higinio Fernanco saved Club El Progreso from getting behind. Amputees FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Drew Fazey in the 81st minute. When Dane Chamberlain fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amputees FC's protests and gave Dane Chamberlain a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Club El Progreso booed when Amputees FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dane Chamberlain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iggi Freel kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Mitchell Burton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
