After a rather tough play, Socavon FC's Gartxot Estopinal got a free kick in the 17th minute. Flavian Fäh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomiro Contero, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Freeman Mächler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Lorenzo Vigalondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Socavon FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. After a defensive mix-up in Socavon FC's zone, Freeman Mächler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenzo Vigalondo came out of the goal and Freeman Mächler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simon Sonevoga kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Espen Steelers's Griffin Melliger was substituted for Michael Charpie. Espen Steelers's Sebastian Zberg was substituted for Karl von Planta. After 61 played minutes Espen Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Simon Sonevoga. Socavon FC's Baldomiro Contero got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baldomiro Contero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Flavian Fäh skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Eneas Leal hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th match minute, Socavon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eneas Leal to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Vigalondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryan Rohner in the 68th minute of play. When Harrison Muntwyler came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Espen Steelers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harrison Muntwyler couldn't finish the play. Simon Sonevoga hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute of the match Duardo Pavieta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavian Fäh showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomiro Contero in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavian Fäh saved Espen Steelers from getting behind. Hubert Gartenmann hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Martin Chapado's late challenge caught a Espen Steelers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Chapado helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes Socavon FC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Chapado. Javier Puget hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The supporters of Socavon FC booed when Espen Steelers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falko Reimann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 played minutes, Socavon FC's Duardo Pavieta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Flavian Fäh came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Socavon FC reached it. Flavian Fäh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Puget, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Philipp Junod managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espen Steelers's supporters rose to their feet, but Philipp Junod was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo Vigalondo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
