Club El Progreso's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Izydor Rakiewicz came free, but Juan Vergaray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bartosz Komanski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. In the 73rd minute, Ignacio Ebere left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club El Progreso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. 76 minutes into the game, Artemio Hegoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Edgar Piszczor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartosz Komanski in the 89th minute of play forced Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Juan Vergaray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Izydor Rakiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club El Progreso's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
