Spectators: 8016 (Terracing: 6014, Seating: 1843, VIP seats: 159) Luisão Tasso made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, ADM Taquaras's goal looked a bit too open when Rodriguinho Ceresso came free, but Décio Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute of the match, Serafim Lucas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Décio Marinho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Vila Mascote FC's Olavo Bastos suffered a sore thigh after 6 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 6 minutes into the game, Lauro Alcântara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ADM Taquaras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vila Mascote FC the free kick. After 8 played minutes ADM Taquaras got a freekick which was hit by Lauro Alcântara. Edson Trevisan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Décio Marinho. ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Dito Donato's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafinha Godoi was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 15th match minute, ADM Taquaras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benê Carioca to maneuver through the defense. Décio Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodriguinho Ceresso in the 17th minute of the match. Décio Marinho made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Luisão Tasso sent off a good shot on target. When ADM Taquaras's Michel Shevchenko in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vila Mascote FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Michel Drogba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rafinha Godoi came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by ADM Taquaras's Michel Drogba. But to his dismay, Michel Drogba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. ADM Taquaras's Décio Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodriguinho Ceresso in the 31st minute of play. Rui Cabral hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Vila Mascote FC's Edson Trevisan got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Décio Marinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisão Tasso in the 36th minute. With a little luck, ADM Taquaras's Décio Marinho got control of the ball when Cássio Araújo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute Michel Drogba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafinha Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Vila Mascote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benê Carioca came free, but Rafinha Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute, Michel Shevchenko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rafinha Godoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Michel Shevchenko received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rafinha Godoi came out and tried to block the shot, but Michel Shevchenko slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 54th minute. In the 65th minute, ADM Taquaras's Michel Drogba dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Vila Mascote FC made a substitution. Guilherme Pombal replaced Fernando Sabóia. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rui Cabral in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafinha Godoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rafinha Godoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rui Cabral's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. A collision led to ADM Taquaras getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Rui Cabral hit a great ball. Wilson Duarte lost his temper 80 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, ADM Taquaras's Wilson Duarte got a free kick in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in ADM Taquaras's zone, Edson Trevisan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Décio Marinho came out of the goal and Edson Trevisan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Rui Cabral fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ADM Taquaras's protests and gave Rui Cabral a yellow card for diving instead. Décio Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodriguinho Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Décio Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisão Tasso in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 98th minute, Rodriguinho Ceresso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ADM Taquaras players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
