Luisão Tasso started the match with the kick off. Aristides Eztebe scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafinha Godoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 6 minutes into the game, Lα Sυв 21's Aristides Eztebe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafinha Godoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 23 minutes into the game, Romeo Pueblo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lα Sυв 21's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vila Mascote FC the free kick. A collision led to Lα Sυв 21 getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Romeo Pueblo hit a great ball. Lα Sυв 21's Romeo Pueblo got his second yellow card of the match in the 25th minute. The referee ordered Romeo Pueblo off the ground. After a rather tough play, Lα Sυв 21's Romeo Pueblo got a free kick in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Lα Sυв 21's goal looked a bit too open when Serafim Lucas came free, but Jonatan Malvin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonatan Malvin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafim Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the game, Edgardo Vimaro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Rafinha Godoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Olavo Bastos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonatan Malvin came out and tried to block the shot, but Olavo Bastos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 34th minute. Vila Mascote FC's Rafinha Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Eztebe in the 37th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Esteban Gombal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lα Sυв 21's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vila Mascote FC the free kick. In the 46th match minute, Lα Sυв 21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Gombal to maneuver through the defense. Jonatan Malvin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo Bastos in the 47th minute of play. Olavo Bastos was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 47th minute. Vila Mascote FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aristides Eztebe made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Eztebe in the 52nd minute of play forced Vila Mascote FC's goalkeeper Rafinha Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute Luisão Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Malvin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lα Sυв 21 getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Feliberto Admon hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Vila Mascote FC's Serafim Lucas got a free kick in the 59th minute. The Lα Sυв 21 fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Lα Sυв 21's Edgardo Vimaro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Vila Mascote FC booed when Lα Sυв 21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Benitez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vila Mascote FC's Guilherme Pombal was substituted for Fernando Sabóia. If Guilherme Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vila Mascote FC's Rafinha Godoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Vila Mascote FC from getting a goal against them. Astor Cebrian took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafinha Godoi. Rafinha Godoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. After a defensive mix-up in Vila Mascote FC's zone, Astor Cebrian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafinha Godoi came out of the goal and Astor Cebrian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Lα Sυв 21 getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Edgardo Vimaro hit a great ball. Jonatan Malvin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodriguinho Ceresso in the 83rd minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lα Sυв 21 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
