The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tim-Oliver Mayrhofer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Moises Remigio made a huge save. Moises Remigio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tim-Oliver Mayrhofer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 17 minute of play. After 20 minutes, Arnaldo Marin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karamázov and the International Thunders players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mario Grebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Galo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Benjamin Wrobel kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. International Thunders's Mario Grebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Galo in the 59th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Florentino Martxelin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karamázov's supporters rose to their feet, but Florentino Martxelin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Grebe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mario Grebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Galo in the 65th minute of play. Gregor Renz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Remigio having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Pascal Oehlert managed to get in a good position for a shot. International Thunders's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascal Oehlert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moises Remigio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Karamázov's Arnaldo Marin got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Gregor Renz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Tim-Oliver Mayrhofer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moises Remigio. Karamázov's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tim-Oliver Mayrhofer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. International Thunders had won after a very even match.
