Pesqueira City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pål Strömberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Enéas Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Månsson in the 25th minute of the match. Roger Månsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Borges having to interfere. KD Stiger's Gustaf Rudberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Guimarães in the 31st minute of play. After 34 played minutes Pesqueira City got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Ortiz. Orlando Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Gustaf Rudberg made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Bebeto Mendes sent off a good shot on target. Pesqueira City's Luizão Pesqueira got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronaldo Guimarães to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Luizão Pesqueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pesqueira City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Pesqueira City's Orlando Ortiz suffered a concussion after 59 minutes and had to leave the field. 59 minutes into the game, Hubert Ahlrot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
