Spectators: 7996 (Terracing: 5998, Seating: 1839, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ender Olgunay started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Winthont FC's Tjeerd Jonkman got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 4 minutes into the game, AYYILDIZ's Muammer Adalı nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fokke Bergman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Fokke Bergman was a little too slow when Ender Olgunay got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 17th minute Muammer Adalı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fokke Bergman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bektaş Ali Enginalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eelco Neijsen in the 18th minute of the match. Sipke Oosting received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Bektaş Ali Enginalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Roelof Pietersma had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bektaş Ali Enginalp. AYYILDIZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roelof Pietersma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 34th minute Eelco Neijsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bektaş Ali Enginalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rıfkı Yelesen kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Eelco Neijsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Sipke Oosting left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Winthont FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Bektaş Ali Enginalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eelco Neijsen in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When Roelof Pietersma fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Winthont FC's protests and gave Roelof Pietersma a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Winthont FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Roelof Pietersma hit a great ball. The supporters of Winthont FC booed when AYYILDIZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ender Olgunay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eelco Neijsen charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eelco Neijsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes Winthont FC got a freekick which was hit by Eelco Neijsen. In the 63rd minute, Ender Olgunay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AYYILDIZ's Bektaş Ali Enginalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eelco Neijsen in the 72nd minute of play. In the 77th minute, Sipke Oosting left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Winthont FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Fokke Bergman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ender Olgunay in the 82nd minute of play. The supporters of AYYILDIZ booed when Winthont FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Floris Talsma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Winthont FC's Meindert de Gooijer got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Filip Smit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Şadi Yücelen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fokke Bergman having to interfere.
