The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 played minutes SIMvergüenzas got a freekick which was hit by Amerigo Leyva. With an all-out effort, Winthont FC's Miguel Teresa threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sipke Oosting, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Miguel Teresa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sipke Oosting showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boni Rojas in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fokke Bergman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of SIMvergüenzas booed when Winthont FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlo Vonk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute Boni Rojas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fokke Bergman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leal De la Torre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Fokke Bergman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremias Montero kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Eelco Neijsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winthont FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eelco Neijsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Teresa made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Eelco Neijsen sent off a good shot on target. Floris Talsma kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Miguel Teresa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eelco Neijsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute.
