After 17 played minutes Cougars FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Belarmo. If Roland Boon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Lalla kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. A collision led to The Underdogs getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Gert Heitinga hit a great ball. Oscar Lalla hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the game, Roland Boon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Underdogs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cougars FC the free kick. The supporters of Cougars FC booed when The Underdogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Boon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Oscar Lalla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cougars FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Underdogs the free kick. A collision led to Cougars FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Oscar Lalla hit a great ball. Nick Lamey was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Pérez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of The Underdogs's Nico van Kampen. Nico van Kampen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 39th minute, Carsten van Wonderen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Abarca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roland Boon went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 48th minute, Ronaldo Pérez made a precise shot to the right of Nico van Kampen. The Underdogs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carsten van Wonderen to make the kick off. Fernando Abarca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Boon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Ronaldo Pérez took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Nico van Kampen to make any attempt to save it. In the 63rd match minute, Cougars FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Ubendu to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Abarca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Boon in the 64th minute of the match. Nico van Kampen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronaldo Pérez in the 69th minute. When the match was over Cougars FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than The Underdogs throughout the match.
