The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Krister Andberg took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vasco Rovira. Vasco Rovira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Serafino Berria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Viggo Lundkvist. FC Bodil United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serafino Berria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Peter Molander charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peter Molander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kosisochukwu Ice-Cream Guobadia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Viggo Lundkvist. FC Bodil United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Viggo Lundkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kosisochukwu Ice-Cream Guobadia in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Bodil United's Karl-Johan Drake got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Johan Drake in the 16th minute of play forced Deportivo Ortegano's goalkeeper Vasco Rovira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Steve Ice-Cream Guobadia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viggo Lundkvist was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. When Serafino Berria came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Deportivo Ortegano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafino Berria couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute, Egon Lövgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 minutes of play, Deportivo Ortegano's Serafino Berria made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viggo Lundkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Krister Andberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Vasco Rovira made a huge save. In the 40th minute, FC Bodil United's Andreas Holm seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Andreas Holm the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Bodil United protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Andreas Holm had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for Deportivo Ortegano. Sotero Besga stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Viggo Lundkvist. 1-3. FC Bodil United's Viggo Lundkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Ice-Cream Guobadia in the 45th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Krister Andberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bodil United's supporters rose to their feet, but Krister Andberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vasco Rovira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Krister Andberg was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to FC Bodil United getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ingvar Hökqvist hit a great ball. With a little luck, FC Bodil United's Viggo Lundkvist got control of the ball when Serafino Berria tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute of the match, Serafino Berria tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Viggo Lundkvist saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafino Berria got free with Viggo Lundkvist in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vasco Rovira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krister Andberg in the 63rd minute of the match. The supporters of FC Bodil United booed when Deportivo Ortegano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sagrario Meldasgoas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Deportivo Ortegano's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Bergström came free, but Vasco Rovira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 minutes Deportivo Ortegano's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Peter Molander who took care of the corner kick. Vasco Rovira came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bodil United's Peter Molander. But to his dismay, Peter Molander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Karl-Johan Drake charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Johan Drake the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th minute, Karl-Johan Drake hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viggo Lundkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Ice-Cream Guobadia in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Deportivo Ortegano's Steve Ice-Cream Guobadia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Viggo Lundkvist. Viggo Lundkvist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. After a rather tough play, FC Bodil United's Gert Barck got a free kick in the 90th minute. After 91 played minutes Deportivo Ortegano got a freekick which was hit by Aztore Cobian. Serafino Berria came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Viggo Lundkvist could save by the left post.
