Urbano Checa started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Modesto Pirmin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Internet XAire's supporters rose to their feet, but Modesto Pirmin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Septien breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frichoso Matamoros charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frichoso Matamoros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Remigio Eusko struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Hector Septien didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Internet XAire. In the 15th minute, Modesto Pirmin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hector Septien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Roldan, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Urbano Checa kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Modesto Pirmin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd match minute, Internet XAire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Hunfredo to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Checa came free, but Hector Septien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Modesto Pirmin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Internet XAire fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ticho Larrangos to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's goalkeeper Hector Septien had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Modesto Pirmin. In the 59thth minute of the game Modesto Pirmin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's Hector Septien was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 67 played minutes POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol got a freekick which was hit by Frichoso Matamoros. Internet XAire's Baltasar Fiz was substituted for Paulino Lobo. Frichoso Matamoros hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute of the match Remigio Eusko sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hector Septien skillfully saved the ball. Elvio Roldan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. Internet XAire's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 80th minute of the match Baltasar Fiz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hector Septien showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hector Septien made an important save on a dangerous shot by Modesto Pirmin in the 81st minute. 89 minutes into the game, Elvio Roldan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hector Septien. Elvio Roldan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. If Urbano Checa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Modesto Pirmin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Hector Septien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Internet XAire's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
