The supporters of FC Bodil United booed when Cougars FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Valerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Abarca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krister Andberg in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Karl-Johan Drake shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Abarca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Aimar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cougars FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Bodil United the free kick. FC Bodil United's Viggo Lundkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save FC Bodil United from getting a goal against them. FC Bodil United's Viggo Lundkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Artal in the 27th minute of play. Karl-Johan Drake hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Fernando Abarca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bo Bergström's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. When Krister Andberg came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the FC Bodil United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Krister Andberg couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute, Krister Andberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Bodil United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Oscar Lalla kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Severo Sasoin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Viggo Lundkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th match minute, Cougars FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Aimar to maneuver through the defense.

52 minutes into the match, FC Bodil United's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Aimar came free, but Viggo Lundkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Aimar in the 52nd minute of play forced FC Bodil United's goalkeeper Viggo Lundkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Karl-Johan Drake reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fernando Abarca. The goal made the score 0-2. In the 59thth minute of the game Lorenzo Aimar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Bodil United's Viggo Lundkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Viggo Lundkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Aimar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Gualterio Pio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viggo Lundkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Artal in the 68th minute of play. After 71 played minutes FC Bodil United got a freekick which was hit by Sture Hermansson. Viggo Lundkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Pio, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 73rd minute, Ramon Rufo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, FC Bodil United's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Aimar came free, but Viggo Lundkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Johan Drake could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Fernando Abarca made a huge save. Egon Lövgren hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Gualterio Pio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Viggo Lundkvist. FC Bodil United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fernando Abarca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Johan Drake in the 96th minute of the match. The Cougars FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Bodil United's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Bodil United.
