When Ismael Hunfredo fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Internet XAire's protests and gave Ismael Hunfredo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Ismael Hunfredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Serafino Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Ermegildo Inocente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Modesto Pirmin sped through Ogro F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Chicão Barbosa. After a rather tough play, Ogro F.C.'s João Vítor Branco got a free kick in the 30th minute. A collision led to Ogro F.C. getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Marcelo Alves hit a great ball. Ogro F.C.'s Chicão Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Pirmin in the 35th minute of play. Baldomiro Enetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Alves in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute Ogro F.C. were awarded a corner. João Francisco Alagoano went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 44th match minute, Internet XAire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. Internet XAire's Baldomiro Enetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vágner Seco in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Guimarães stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luisinho dos Santos during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ogro F.C. were furious when João Vítor Branco was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 59th minute, João Vítor Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Internet XAire's Ermegildo Inocente got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vágner Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Urbano Checa in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chicão Barbosa saved Ogro F.C. from getting behind. Chicão Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Checa in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Pirmin came free, but Chicão Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th match minute, Internet XAire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryan Reyna to maneuver through the defense. After 78 played minutes Internet XAire got a freekick which was hit by Bryan Reyna. With his leg Baldomiro Enetz managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Ogro F.C.'s Edmundo Guimarães fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Chicão Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Pirmin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Internet XAire's Modesto Pirmin got a free kick in the 88th minute. A hard shot by João Francisco Alagoano from long distance, 88 minutes into the match, got Baldomiro Enetz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Marcelo Alves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baldomiro Enetz came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcelo Alves slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 90th minute. Marcelo Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
