In the 4th minute Xacintu Angosto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Guter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basilio Colomes was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Celestino Chayo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Celestino Chayo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Honorato Atarrabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Golden Dragón F.C getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Sindo Munozcano hit a great ball. In the 18thth minute of the game Celestino Chayo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golden Dragón F.C's Basilio Colomes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Celestino Chayo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Basilio Colomes made a huge save. In the 23rd minute, Severino Borniquell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Golden Dragón F.C's Basilio Colomes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Golden Dragón F.C from getting a goal against them. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Benito Guter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xacintu Angosto in the 29th minute of play. Benito Guter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgardo Loaisa went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Basilio Colomes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celestino Chayo in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xacintu Angosto in the 46th minute of play forced Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s goalkeeper Benito Guter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 played minutes Cartero de Agronomia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Daunte. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celestino Chayo to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Alfredo Henrico got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Edgardo Loaisa hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anselmo Errando in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basilio Colomes saved Golden Dragón F.C from getting behind. 58 minutes into the game, Golden Dragón F.C's Xacintu Angosto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Guter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Basilio Colomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Chayo in the 62nd minute of the match. The supporters of Cartero de Agronomia F.C. booed when Golden Dragón F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cerilo Valben didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute of the match Bernardino Lander shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basilio Colomes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Anselmo Errando hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, Edgardo Loaisa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Guter, 2-3. Edgardo Loaisa kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After 92 played minutes, Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Bernardino Lander shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Basilio Colomes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cartero de Agronomia F.C. reached it. Benito Guter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xacintu Angosto in the 96th minute of play. The Cartero de Agronomia F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Golden Dragón F.C's performance. The match ended with a win for Golden Dragón F.C.
