Spectators: 8001 (Terracing: 6002, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 159) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marco-Antonio Figueroa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Luiz Fernando Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Shark FC - FSCMZ's Abelardo Escerza threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Márcio Garcia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 12 minutes into the game, Eriberto Melo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shark FC - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zorros del Desierto the free kick. 14 minutes into the game, Zorros del Desierto's Zelipe Claro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nilmar de Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 26th minute, Shark FC - FSCMZ's Márcio Garcia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camilo Pino in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilmar de Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th match minute, Zorros del Desierto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Barroso to maneuver through the defense. If Márcio Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduard Dighero kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Tomé Catarinense, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Abelardo Escerza was a little too slow when Márcio Garcia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 2-1. Zorros del Desierto's Ezequiel Carillanca was substituted for Lucas Jurado. Américo Taylor kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd match minute, Zorros del Desierto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Pino to maneuver through the defense. Abelardo Escerza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márcio Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shark FC - FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Zorros del Desierto's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomé Catarinense took the corner. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Márcio Garcia made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Vladimiro Barroso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zorros del Desierto's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimiro Barroso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilmar de Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute, Camilo Pino made a precise shot to the right of Nilmar de Amorim. Shark FC - FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Paulo Almi hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Shark FC - FSCMZ's Tomé Catarinense tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Camilo Pino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Zorros del Desierto's Camilo Pino got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute Márcio Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Escerza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nilmar de Amorim was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zelipe Claro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 83 minute of play. Jacinto Queiroz's late challenge caught a Zorros del Desierto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacinto Queiroz helped the player get up and apologised. After 86 played minutes Shark FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Queiroz. 90 minutes into the match, Zelipe Claro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilmar de Amorim. Shark FC - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zelipe Claro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. The Zorros del Desierto players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
