Feri Ekodono was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thorben Rittmann in the 19th minute of play forced Bleber FC's goalkeeper Feri Ekodono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bartolomeo Heinlein came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Sydney FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolomeo Heinlein couldn't finish the play. Cahyo Yuliandi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Guderian having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Bleber FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomeo Heinlein came free, but Feri Ekodono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feri Ekodono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kees Plappert, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Sydney FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Thorben Rittmann in the 33rd minute. The corner led Sydney FC's Thorben Rittmann to fire away a dangerous shot which Feri Ekodono despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zulkarnaen Murtopo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florian Guderian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Henry Sutarman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Florian Guderian quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 41 minutes, Bartolomeo Heinlein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sydney FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolomeo Heinlein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Kees Plappert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 44 minutes into the match, Sydney FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lexi Astaman came free, but Florian Guderian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thorben Rittmann to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sydney FC's Adnan Tilner got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute of the match Henry Sutarman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florian Guderian showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Sydney FC's Nat Schmitt got a free kick in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Dewa Suparmaji was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bleber FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sydney FC the free kick. Dewa Suparmaji kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The supporters of Bleber FC booed when Sydney FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adnan Tilner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thorben Rittmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Sydney FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Soesilo came free, but Florian Guderian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Sydney FC's Feri Ekodono threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pierre Möhn, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Feri Ekodono made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thorben Rittmann in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bleber FC's zone, Pierre Möhn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feri Ekodono came out of the goal and Pierre Möhn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pierre Möhn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Feri Ekodono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bleber FC were furious when Tubagus Nasution was red carded, 92 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bleber FC! When the match had been going on for 93 minutes, Sydney FC's Thorben Rittmann got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Feri Ekodono. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Pierre Möhn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sydney FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pierre Möhn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feri Ekodono breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sydney FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
