Los Hermanos CIMZ's Valério Rosado got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 5 played minutes Los Hermanos CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Zé Augusto Antunes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbson Donato in the 5th minute of play forced Los Hermanos CIMZ's goalkeeper Oscar Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 played minutes Villaverde Celeste Clube got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sten. After 15 played minutes Los Hermanos CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Ulisses Sabóia. Oscar Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mané Garrincha in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbson Donato in the 25th minute of play forced Los Hermanos CIMZ's goalkeeper Oscar Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 played minutes Villaverde Celeste Clube got a freekick which was hit by Róbson Donato. Alfredo Linares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafa Veloso went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute, Los Hermanos CIMZ's Rafa Veloso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alfredo Linares. Alfredo Linares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 42nd minute, Alberto Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafa Veloso to make the kick off. When Alberto Valladares was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. After 56 played minutes Villaverde Celeste Clube got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Valladares. Oscar Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Garrincha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Los Hermanos CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Giuliano David came free, but Oscar Saraiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Rafa Veloso put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alfredo Linares. Alfredo Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafa Veloso in the 65th minute of the match. A collision led to Villaverde Celeste Clube getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Luiz Netto hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Villaverde Celeste Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa Veloso came free, but Alfredo Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mané Garrincha got free with Oscar Saraiva in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané Garrincha in the 73rd minute of play forced Los Hermanos CIMZ's goalkeeper Oscar Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valério Rosado scored 4-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Linares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Lucas Militão came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Los Hermanos CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Militão couldn't finish the play. After having played for 81 minutes, Lucas Militão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Hermanos CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Militão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Cesinha Dias fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villaverde Celeste Clube's protests and gave Cesinha Dias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Cesinha Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Los Hermanos CIMZ had won after a very even match.
