Spectators: 7997 (Terracing: 5999, Seating: 1839, VIP seats: 159) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Benislav Bozov kicked off to start the match. After 3 minutes, Sandro Porter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the General Velásquez and the SPARROWS players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to General Velásquez getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Sandro Porter hit a great ball. After some careless play in the General Velásquez defense, Vidyo Mariyanov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergio-Roberto Livingstone. The General Velásquez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergio-Roberto Livingstone should have stopped the shot. Adrian Milevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Wilkenson in the 10th minute of the match. Sandro Porter got his second yellow card in the match during the 14th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Sandro Porter kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Sergio-Roberto Livingstone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benislav Bozov in the 19th minute of the match. Angelillo Hormeño's late challenge caught a SPARROWS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelillo Hormeño helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, Angelillo Hormeño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute Vesko Kanin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio-Roberto Livingstone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Flavio Chacaltana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of SPARROWS booed when General Velásquez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeraldo Sarfate didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrian Milevski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavio Chacaltana in the 44th minute. The General Velásquez players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SPARROWS were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pere Sáenz was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeraldo Sarfate during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in General Velásquez fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 50th minute. Penalty! Vesko Kanin shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hanamichi Sakuragi during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to General Velásquez getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Hanamichi Sakuragi hit a great ball. Sergio-Roberto Livingstone came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by SPARROWS's Tzvyatko Trifonov. But to his dismay, Tzvyatko Trifonov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Adrian Milevski came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by General Velásquez's Alarico Laso de la Vega. But to his dismay, Alarico Laso de la Vega quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, SPARROWS's Tzvyatko Trifonov got a free kick in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pere Sáenz in the 74th minute of play forced SPARROWS's goalkeeper Adrian Milevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Milevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Wilkenson in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, SPARROWS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanyo Mindizov to maneuver through the defense. Stanyo Mindizov hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pere Sáenz in the 83rd minute of play forced SPARROWS's goalkeeper Adrian Milevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grozdan Grozev's late challenge caught a General Velásquez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Grozdan Grozev helped the player get up and apologised. After 84 played minutes SPARROWS got a freekick which was hit by Grozdan Grozev. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Wilkenson in the 87th minute of play forced SPARROWS's goalkeeper Adrian Milevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luciano Wilkenson took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrian Milevski. Adrian Milevski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. General Velásquez's Delfino Mac Rostie was substituted for Hanamichi Sakuragi. After having played for 96 minutes, Flavio Chacaltana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. General Velásquez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Chacaltana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the SPARROWS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for General Velásquez.
