The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oscar Saraiva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Thorben Rittmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oscar Saraiva. Los Hermanos CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thorben Rittmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 40th minute Rafa Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Guderian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafa Veloso in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florian Guderian saved Sydney FC from getting behind. 41 minutes into the game, Los Hermanos CIMZ's Rafa Veloso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florian Guderian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thorben Rittmann made a kick off. Los Hermanos CIMZ's Oscar Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolomeo Heinlein in the 52nd minute of play. The corner ended in Constantin Ehrgott almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Hermanos CIMZ's Oscar Saraiva did a great save. Klaus Mogg kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. If Bartolomeo Heinlein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Paulo Costa in the 64th minute of play forced Sydney FC's goalkeeper Florian Guderian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nat Schmitt kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafa Veloso in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florian Guderian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85thth minute of the game Valério Rosado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sydney FC's Florian Guderian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafa Veloso in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florian Guderian saved Sydney FC from getting behind. In the 91st match minute, Sydney FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre Möhn to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Lucas Militão in the 92nd minute really tested Florian Guderian's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
