Spectators: 8012 (Terracing: 6011, Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 159) Chorroarín's Julian Abaunza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Frank Sten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Asier having to interfere. If Cido Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute, Alberto Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chorroarín's Eloy Asier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sten in the 11th minute of play. Eloy Asier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sten in the 13th minute of play. Conrado Cordairo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Cido Furlan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Eloy Asier made a huge save. In the 29th match minute, Villaverde Celeste Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesinha Dias to maneuver through the defense. Bonifacio Roldan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Abaunza in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Linares saved Villaverde Celeste Clube from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Julian Abaunza put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alfredo Linares. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Chorroarín's Cecilio Janpier was substituted for Bonifacio Roldan. Alfredo Linares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Abaunza in the 81st minute. When Luiz Netto fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villaverde Celeste Clube's protests and gave Luiz Netto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th match minute, Villaverde Celeste Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Netto to maneuver through the defense. When Melquiades Pagomari fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chorroarín's protests and gave Melquiades Pagomari a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Chorroarín getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Melquiades Pagomari hit a great ball. Cesinha Dias hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Astor Leizarraga got in the 92nd minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Alfredo Linares. This was a shot which ended in a score of 0-2. After 95 minutes, Astor Leizarraga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chorroarín and the Villaverde Celeste Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Villaverde Celeste Clube booed when Chorroarín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Leizarraga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chorroarín's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
