Eliseo Heriberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thorben Rittmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 22 minutes, German Ramond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's supporters crossed their fingers, but German Ramond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Sydney FC's Thorben Rittmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliseo Heriberto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 32 minutes into the game, ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's Mauro Vermudo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thorben Rittmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 69th match minute, ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Ramond to maneuver through the defense. Edelmiro Bide kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's goalkeeper Eliseo Heriberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sydney FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Thorben Rittmann in the 79th minute. Guillermo Mancio hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute Thorben Rittmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Heriberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eleuterio Fortun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Florian Guderian made a huge save. ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's Eliseo Heriberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thorben Rittmann in the 85th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Mauro Vermudo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florian Guderian. Sydney FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Vermudo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 93 minutes into the game, Adnan Tilner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pierre Möhn couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
