In the 8th match minute, Magnifico FC - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rômulo Faria to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alan Machado got free with Leendert Borg in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgard Schiphouwer kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Richard Linhares put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Leendert Borg. Albertus FC's Leendert Borg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Linhares in the 26th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's Richard Senna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leendert Borg. That made the score 2-0 after 47 minutes of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joeri Buys stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Alan Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leendert Borg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee showed Kléber Magalhães the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leendert Borg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Albertus FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Lino Fernandes made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Joeri Buys sent off a good shot on target. Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's Lino Fernandes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Magnifico FC - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. Leendert Borg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Senna in the 86th minute of play. After 89 minutes, Richard Linhares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Magnifico FC - FSCMZ and the Albertus FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Albertus FC booed when Magnifico FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Linhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's David Fernandez got a free kick in the 91st minute. Lino Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jelle Zijden in the 94th minute of the match. Joeri Buys struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Lino Fernandes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Albertus FC. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Magnifico FC - FSCMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Albertus FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
