An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Machado in the 4th minute of play forced Saronida FC's goalkeeper Marios Zachalios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nikos Malamas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Paraibano having to interfere. Anastasios Zotalis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Paraibano having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's Dorian Marquez got a free kick in the 11th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Nikos Malamas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's Nestor Paraibano. Nestor Paraibano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice moves Alan Machado could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Marios Zachalios however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Saronida FC's zone, Alan Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marios Zachalios came out of the goal and Alan Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marios Zachalios stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Richard Linhares's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Marios Zachalios made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Alan Machado sent off a good shot on target. The referee felt a red card was in order, 45 minutes into the game, when Vlassis Tavoularis put in a rough tackle. In the 46th minute, Vlassis Tavoularis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Richard Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Senna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marios Zachalios breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Richard Linhares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Richard Linhares scored 1-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marios Zachalios, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richard Linhares in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marios Zachalios saved Saronida FC from getting behind. A collision led to Magnifico FC - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Dinei Magalhães hit a great ball. Saronida FC made a substitution. Kyriakos Stratakos replaced Anastasios Zotalis. After 69 played minutes Magnifico FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Dinei Magalhães. 71 minutes into the match, Kyriakos Stratakos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nestor Paraibano, 1-2. Nikos Malamas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Nestor Paraibano made a huge save. Nestor Paraibano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Malamas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikos Malamas got free with Nestor Paraibano in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nestor Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyriakos Stratakos in the 95th minute of play. The Magnifico FC - FSCMZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Saronida FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Saronida FC.
