Spectators: 7860 (Terracing: 5895, Seating: 1808, VIP seats: 157) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rafael Napier got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Napier in the 8th minute of play forced E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's goalkeeper Hélio Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélio Guimarães didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benicio Felipillo went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 14 minutes of play, El ultimo's Orlando Peio made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hélio Guimarães was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Silveira in the 22nd minute of play forced El ultimo's goalkeeper Niceto Pere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Benicio Felipillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hugo Fidele, 31 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 36th minute Benicio Felipillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Fidele recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amílton Barbosa made a kick off. After 55 played minutes E. C. Flamengo Paraibano got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Abreu. After 57 played minutes El ultimo got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Balesio. Adalberto Moreno took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Niceto Pere. El ultimo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Inácio Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 63 played minutes El ultimo got a freekick which was hit by Diego Belo. Hélio Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Napier in the 66th minute of play. Amílton Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Hugo Fidele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute, Reynaldo Mineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hélio Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Felipillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El ultimo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hugo Fidele in the 87th minute. A nice corner shot did that Hugo Fidele got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hélio Guimarães quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Inácio Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
