The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pisit Sinanan in the 4th minute of play forced Penuel Football Club's goalkeeper Fe Lizaur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Ibar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Fe Lizaur made a huge save. In the 31st minute, Horacio Igon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 played minutes Penuel Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Ovalle. Pisit Sinanan might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fe Lizaur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pisit Sinanan ran back to his position shaking his head. Danel Ayllon kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Teodoro Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Patiño in the 39th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Horacio Igon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Piorno Bazarra made a kick off. Penuel Football Club's Fe Lizaur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Ibar in the 54th minute of play. Fe Lizaur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Patxi in the 58th minute of play. Goren Alva hit a great ball. Horacio Igon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fe Lizaur having to interfere. Pisit Sinanan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Horacio Igon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 minutes of play, Momentum FC's Vicente Ibar made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fe Lizaur was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Fernando Cavenaghi sped through Momentum FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Teodoro Faro. 90 minutes into the game, Vicente Ibar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Fe Lizaur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Momentum FC had won after a very even match.
