Spectators: 7984 (Terracing: 5989, Seating: 1836, VIP seats: 159) A collision led to El ultimo getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Orlando Peio hit a great ball. Niceto Pere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serge Fleur in the 15th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Gerrie Kuijsten sped through El ultimo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Niceto Pere. Maurice Haydon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Niceto Pere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, El ultimo's goal looked a bit too open when Gerrie Kuijsten came free, but Niceto Pere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sjoerd Ottenhof hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Hugo Fidele was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Serge Buring didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Fidele went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of El ultimo booed when Ágætis Byrjun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Zaagman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 52nd minute, Diego Belo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Fidele came free, but Serge Buring reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benicio Felipillo struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Serge Buring didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El ultimo. 61 minutes into the match, El ultimo's goalkeeper Niceto Pere had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerrie Kuijsten. Hugo Fidele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serge Buring having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maurice Haydon in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niceto Pere saved El ultimo from getting behind. Serge Buring made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Fidele in the 81st minute of play. Hugo Fidele took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serge Buring. Serge Buring dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The supporters of El ultimo booed when Ágætis Byrjun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sjoerd Ottenhof didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Maurice Haydon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ágætis Byrjun's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
