Eliseo Elija took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Napier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, El ultimo's Niceto Pere got control of the ball when Angel Mantzio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angel Mantzio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niceto Pere having to make a save. In the 10th minute Angel Mantzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Pere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Benicio Perfecto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Niceto Pere, 1-0. Eliseo Elija showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Fidele, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After having played for 27 minutes, Gerardo Haritz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Haritz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saul Peruanton hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Angel Mantzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of El ultimo booed when Defensores del Tiki Tiki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Haritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Fidele recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 39 played minutes Defensores del Tiki Tiki got a freekick which was hit by Siro Inko. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Mario Chabier was substituted for Bernabe Francis. The crowd rose to their feet as El ultimo's Benicio Felipillo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eliseo Elija. That made the score 2-1 after 53 minutes of play. Benicio Felipillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Elija having to interfere. A collision led to Defensores del Tiki Tiki getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Cornelio Gimenez hit a great ball. Niceto Pere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Haritz in the 69th minute of play. Niceto Pere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Mantzio in the 70th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Benicio Felipillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eliseo Elija. That made the score 2-2 in the 72 minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Defensores del Tiki Tiki's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Felipillo came free, but Eliseo Elija reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niceto Pere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Chabier, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. A collision led to El ultimo getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Diego Belo hit a great ball. 3-2 became the score in the 85th minute when Angel Mantzio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Niceto Pere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Perfecto, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Mario Chabier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Pere having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Defensores del Tiki Tiki fans cheered their team off the field, for while El ultimo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
