Niceto Ovalle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jurgen Oorschot hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 16th play minutes Mathijs Looze shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Fe Lizaur and just under the crossbar into goal. After 21 played minutes Penuel Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Cero. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Mathijs Looze got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Serge Buring showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piorno Bazarra in the 25th minute of the match. Jairo Patiño's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serge Buring read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Jairo Patiño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serge Buring showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piorno Bazarra in the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 minutes Ágætis Byrjun's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ramos Cuyar who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Penuel Football Club's corner Ramos Cuyar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Serge Buring quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurice Haydon in the 35th minute of play forced Penuel Football Club's goalkeeper Fe Lizaur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 minutes of play, Ágætis Byrjun's Gerrie Kuijsten made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fe Lizaur was left in no man's land by his defense there! 44 minutes into the match, Penuel Football Club's goalkeeper Fe Lizaur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerrie Kuijsten. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After recieving a nice pass, Penuel Football Club's Ramos Cuyar tried to score from far away in the 51st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 55th match minute, Penuel Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Descarrega to maneuver through the defense. Jurgen Oorschot charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jurgen Oorschot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Penuel Football Club booed when Ágætis Byrjun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jurgen Oorschot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jurgen Oorschot hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Fe Lizaur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerrie Kuijsten in the 68th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Ágætis Byrjun got a freekick which was hit by Serge Fleur. Penuel Football Club made a substitution. Fernando Cavenaghi replaced Niceto Ovalle. Penuel Football Club's Fernando Cavenaghi got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Serge Buring was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fernando Cavenaghi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 77 minute of play. Fe Lizaur came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ágætis Byrjun's Maurice Haydon. But to his dismay, Maurice Haydon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Piorno Bazarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serge Buring having to interfere. Ágætis Byrjun's Serge Buring played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Cavenaghi in the 93rd minute of play. Mathijs Looze hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Penuel Football Club's Fernando Cavenaghi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2.
