The Defensores del Tiki Tiki fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Serge Buring made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Perfecto in the 78th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Ágætis Byrjun got a freekick which was hit by Gerrie Kuijsten. Gerardo Haritz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laurens Waterman kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Tomas Viviano got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Chabier got free with Serge Buring in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Siro Inko kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Eliseo Elija showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurice Haydon, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. If Benicio Perfecto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Defensores del Tiki Tiki walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
