Bastian Ytterstad charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bastian Ytterstad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bastian Ytterstad kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Hasan Vezir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SARI ZEYBEK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hasan Vezir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Özgür Egesel struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Olav Øverby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SARI ZEYBEK. SARI ZEYBEK's Ali Atıf Aktan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save SARI ZEYBEK from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute, Özgür Egesel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brufoss IL's Olav Øverby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hasan Vezir in the 16th minute of play. When Saip Lütfi came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the SARI ZEYBEK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saip Lütfi couldn't finish the play. Olav Øverby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hasan Vezir in the 20th minute of the match. Saip Lütfi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Olav Øverby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SARI ZEYBEK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brufoss IL the free kick. In the 34th minute, Saip Lütfi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bastian Ytterstad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Ali Atıf Aktan made a huge save. After the first half SARI ZEYBEK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bastian Ytterstad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ali Atıf Aktan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stian Steen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, SARI ZEYBEK's Délio Nezihi got a free kick in the 52nd minute. SARI ZEYBEK's Saip Lütfi got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Anıl Arda Dahi came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the SARI ZEYBEK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anıl Arda Dahi couldn't finish the play. After 62 played minutes Brufoss IL got a freekick which was hit by Tor-Egil Arntsen. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hasan Vezir got free with Olav Øverby in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 63 minutes, Kenneth Foldnes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brufoss IL and the SARI ZEYBEK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kenneth Foldnes in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ali Atıf Aktan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bastian Ytterstad in the 68th minute of play forced SARI ZEYBEK's goalkeeper Ali Atıf Aktan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes of play SARI ZEYBEK's Özgür Egesel was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 69th match minute, SARI ZEYBEK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özgür Egesel to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Brufoss IL booed when SARI ZEYBEK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özgür Egesel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl Bergstrøm kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Hasan Vezir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Brufoss IL's Karl Bergstrøm got a free kick in the 92nd minute. SARI ZEYBEK played a much better game than Brufoss IL and deserved their victory. The Brufoss IL players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
