In the 15th match minute, Lobo Guará was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válbson Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Conny Mårtensson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roberto Baiano, 1-0. Wilhelm Säv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertinho Leite in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lobo Guará's João Augusto Salgado got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 92 played minutes, Sundens BK's Conny Mårtensson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roberto Baiano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sundens BK reached it. Olov Alebäck's late challenge caught a Lobo Guará's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olov Alebäck helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lobo Guará booed when Sundens BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Alebäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olle Ahlfors charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olle Ahlfors the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Olle Ahlfors hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lobo Guará were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
