Tord Ekström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nils Zachrisson kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. FC Kurdistan's Jonas Landin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Hrușcă in the 4th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Marco Lio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Francisc Rădulescu. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. If Scott Glad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 13 minutes of play, FC Kurdistan's Marco Lio made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisc Rădulescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Constantin Ifrim scored 2-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonas Landin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in The Owls's zone, Hasan Haram stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisc Rădulescu came out of the goal and Hasan Haram tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Owls's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Marco Lio scored to the left of an out of position Francisc Rădulescu, making the score, 3-1. Jonas Landin came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by The Owls's Petruț Alecu. But to his dismay, Petruț Alecu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Scott Glad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Francisc Rădulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, FC Kurdistan's Marco Lio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. FC Kurdistan's Jonas Landin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantin Ifrim in the 46th minute of play.

The wind increased when Marco Lio made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match, Constantin Ifrim got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonas Landin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eric Ciocârlan during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eric Ciocârlan hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Kristian Ugla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Francisc Rădulescu. The Owls's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 63 played minutes The Owls got a freekick which was hit by Petruț Alecu. FC Kurdistan made a substitution. Mattias Åhlberg replaced Mikael Granström. The Owls's Francisc Rădulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Lio in the 65th minute of play. With a little luck, FC Kurdistan's Jonas Landin got control of the ball when Constantin Ifrim tried to sneak it across the goal line. The FC Kurdistan fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when FC Kurdistan's Martin Ström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Francisc Rădulescu came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kurdistan's Henric Martinsson. But to his dismay, Henric Martinsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Kurdistan had won after a very even match.
