Eriberto Jaunti hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Deportivo Diamante U18's Donato Macerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edinho Vasconcelos in the 27th minute of play. Frederico Smith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Paul in the 34th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Deportivo Diamante U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Piearres to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Isaias Piearres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edinho Vasconcelos made a kick off. Deportivo Diamante U18's Donato Macerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Mandrak in the 51st minute of play. Vivaldo Soeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Donato Macerio made a huge save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Deportivo Diamante U18:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Clube do Remo MZ:s goal. Donato Macerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st match minute, Clube do Remo MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Deportivo Diamante U18 booed when Clube do Remo MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position.
