Rafa Nóbrega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleithon Minuhin in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute Guilherme Abud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafa Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guilherme Abud in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafa Nóbrega prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8th match minute, Futuros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Salgado to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Futuros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme Abud came free, but Rafa Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of DENVER™ booed when Futuros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão Colorado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wanderson Passos hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Delfim Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adilson Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 played minutes DENVER™ got a freekick which was hit by Diguinho Vargas. 29 minutes into the match, Futuros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme Abud came free, but Rafa Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DENVER™ were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Futuros FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Conrado Paraibano took the corner. After taking down the ball on DENVER™'s corner Conrado Paraibano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rafa Nóbrega quite easily take care of the ball. Rafa Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Abud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 played minutes DENVER™ got a freekick which was hit by Luís Eduardo Araújo. Cleithon Minuhin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute of the match Conrado Paraibano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafa Nóbrega showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme Abud in the 46th minute of play forced Futuros FC's goalkeeper Rafa Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guilherme Abud to make the kick off. With his leg Rafa Nóbrega managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when DENVER™'s Guilherme Abud fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 66th minute Adilson Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Guilherme Abud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme Abud in the 68th minute of play forced Futuros FC's goalkeeper Rafa Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado Paraibano hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. DENVER™'s Márcio Guedes was substituted for Nilton Netto. DENVER™ made a substitution. Caio de Mendonça replaced Wanderson Passos.
