In the 3rd match minute, Várzea F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jailson Koehler to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute Vivaldo Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Lastras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cleto Lastras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Várzea F.C.'s Alessandro Mandrak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cleto Lastras made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 15 minutes into the game, Alessandro Mandrak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cleto Lastras was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 18 minutes into the match, Bada Bing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Mandrak came free, but Cleto Lastras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bada Bing Club's Lolo Bacete got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32ndth minute of the game Andrea Soprano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Várzea F.C.'s Reinaldo Queiroz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Bada Bing Club getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Luis Mendez hit a great ball. In the 37th minute Vivaldo Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Lastras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Ramiro Rosado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cleto Lastras was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 43 minutes into the match, Várzea F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Andrea Soprano came free, but Reinaldo Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Várzea F.C. were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Cleto Lastras was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Alessandro Mandrak capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alessandro Mandrak really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Rogério Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Aritz Morales got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bada Bing Club made a substitution. In the 93rd minute, Lolo Bacete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Alessandro Mandrak could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Cleto Lastras however easily saved by the left post. In the 94th minute, Várzea F.C.'s Alessandro Mandrak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cleto Lastras. Cleto Lastras yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Várzea F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
