When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Edinho Vasconcelos sped through Futuros FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rafa Nóbrega. Rafa Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Mandrak in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Clube do Remo MZ's goalkeeper Frederico Smith had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agnaldo Brasil. Rafa Nóbrega came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube do Remo MZ's Edinho Vasconcelos. But to his dismay, Edinho Vasconcelos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Frederico Smith took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edson Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frederico Smith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Salgado in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Clube do Remo MZ booed when Futuros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adilson Toledo charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adilson Toledo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes Futuros FC got a freekick which was hit by Adilson Toledo. Hortêncio de Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Hélder Mangueira hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ismael Mandrak during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rafa Nóbrega made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Toninho de Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. Edson Sousa hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Toninho de Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Clube do Remo MZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
