In the 4th minute Israel Montae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filomeno Pio got free with Reinaldo Queiroz in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Mandrak came free, but Severiano Santo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alessandro Mandrak in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severiano Santo saved Amboy FC from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Maximino Aznaro took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Reinaldo Queiroz to make any attempt to save it. In the 25th minute, Jailson Koehler made a precise shot to the right of Severiano Santo. Amboy FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Ramiro Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amboy FC's Severiano Santo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Mandrak in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Mandrak in the 31st minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Severiano Santo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Israel Montae recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Reinaldo Queiroz. Israel Montae showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Várzea F.C.'s Alessandro Mandrak got a free kick in the 36th minute. The supporters of Amboy FC booed when Várzea F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximino Aznaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Reinaldo Queiroz made a huge save. After 44 minutes of play, Amboy FC's Filomeno Pio made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reinaldo Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
After a defensive mix-up in Várzea F.C.'s zone, Santiago Gabirel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reinaldo Queiroz came out of the goal and Santiago Gabirel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 58 played minutes Várzea F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Marques. After a rather tough play, Várzea F.C.'s Benjamim de Moraes got a free kick in the 61st minute. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Israel Montae put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Reinaldo Queiroz. In the 65th minute Israel Montae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Atilano Fidencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 78 minutes, Santiago Gabirel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amboy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Gabirel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Pio in the 80th minute of play forced Várzea F.C.'s goalkeeper Reinaldo Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reinaldo Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Aznaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Reinaldo Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Montae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, Amboy FC's Filomeno Pio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reinaldo Queiroz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. When the referee ended the match the Amboy FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
