Celedonio Lobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Sá in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Classe A Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Ellande came free, but Doriva Simão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Prensadito Fulbo Clu's goal looked a bit too open when Váldson Mazza came free, but Celedonio Lobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doriva Simão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Ellande in the 20th minute of the match. If Elpidio Ellande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 30 minutes into the game, when Celestino Giraldo put in a rough tackle. 29 minutes into the game, one of Prensadito Fulbo Clu:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Váldson Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Classe A Futebol Clube's Doriva Simão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Xabier in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Astor Xabier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Patrick Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Celedonio Lobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Classe A Futebol Clube were furious when Murillo Lima was red carded, 53 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Classe A Futebol Clube:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Prensadito Fulbo Clu:s goal. Doriva Simão had in the 55thth minute some difficulties stopping Genaro Umea's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Genaro Umea during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes Prensadito Fulbo Clu got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Umea. Jaime Vides hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Prensadito Fulbo Clu's Astor Xabier got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Doriva Simão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Astor Xabier in the 66th minute. Prensadito Fulbo Clu's attentive Genaro Umea managed to snatch the ball when Patrick Cunha made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. If Genaro Umea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Americo Mouricio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 played minutes Prensadito Fulbo Clu got a freekick which was hit by Americo Mouricio. When Elpidio Ellande fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Prensadito Fulbo Clu's protests and gave Elpidio Ellande a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Prensadito Fulbo Clu's Elpidio Ellande got a free kick in the 85th minute. Patrick Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Prensadito Fulbo Clu's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
