Spectators: 8057 (Terracing: 6044, Seating: 1853, VIP seats: 160) Olivér Radnai started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute Ödön Rákosi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Waaler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Åsnes's goalkeeper Christer Waaler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Nagyváradi AC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. László Szarka hit a great ball. Aurél Juhász acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 15th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kristian Sandersen. The supporters of Nagyváradi AC booed when Åsnes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steffen Askvik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christer Waaler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Szikora in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Szikora in the 18th minute of play forced Åsnes's goalkeeper Christer Waaler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Csaba Virágh fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nagyváradi AC's protests and gave Csaba Virágh a yellow card for diving instead. Csaba Virágh kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dan Ødegaard got free with Aurél Juhász in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Nagyváradi AC booed when Åsnes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Leidland didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Brúnó Buzánszki came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Nagyváradi AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brúnó Buzánszki couldn't finish the play. Christer Waaler came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Nagyváradi AC's László Solti. But to his dismay, László Solti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 49 minutes Nagyváradi AC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kristian Sandersen who took care of the corner kick. Dan Ødegaard kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Morten Hestad to make the kick off. After 56 minutes, Martin Rustad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Åsnes and the Nagyváradi AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Martin Rustad was shown his second yellow card after 60 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Brúnó Buzánszki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Brúnó Buzánszki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christer Waaler made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Olivér Radnai sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Åsnes's zone, Roland Szikora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christer Waaler came out of the goal and Roland Szikora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Roland Szikora managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nagyváradi AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Szikora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christer Waaler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 72 played minutes Nagyváradi AC got a freekick which was hit by Albert Tóth. A collision led to Nagyváradi AC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. László Solti hit a great ball. Brúnó Buzánszki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Åsnes's goalkeeper Christer Waaler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by László Papp. Morten Hestad kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
