Christer Waaler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Salvidor in the 4th minute of the match. Christer Waaler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Sindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 10 minutes, Isidoro Malvin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reyes F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Malvin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christer Waaler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Malvin, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Reyes F.C.'s Angel Gartzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Reyes F.C. from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the match, Åsnes's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Malvin came free, but Christer Waaler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteve Harri in the 20th minute of play forced Åsnes's goalkeeper Christer Waaler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteve Harri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Christer Waaler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Åsnes getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Kenneth Leidland hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isidoro Malvin in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christer Waaler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Reyes F.C.'s goalkeeper Angel Gartzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Åsnes getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Rune Gjessing hit a great ball. Angel Gartzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Ødegaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Reyes F.C.'s goalkeeper Angel Gartzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Morten Hestad.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Morten Hestad was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Reyes F.C. getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Isidoro Malvin hit a great ball. When Esteve Harri fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reyes F.C.'s protests and gave Esteve Harri a yellow card for diving instead. 64 minutes into the match, Rune Gjessing notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Reyes F.C.'s Angel Gartzi. Angel Gartzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Åsnes's zone, Esteve Harri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christer Waaler came out of the goal and Esteve Harri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reyes F.C.'s Cosme Gaizko was substituted for Omar Salvidor. Christer Waaler made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Esteve Harri sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Åsnes defense, Cleto Sindo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christer Waaler. The Åsnes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christer Waaler should have stopped the shot. Cleto Sindo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Christer Waaler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Sindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosme Gaizko charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosme Gaizko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cosme Gaizko kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Reyes F.C.'s Cleto Sindo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christer Waaler narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
