Katia Villalobos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Astor Xabier went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Nacional's Mauricio Panero got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Astor Xabier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Katia Villalobos having to interfere. In the 18th minute Emanuel Bañuelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Lobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Katia Villalobos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Ellande, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 26 minutes into the game, Gabriel Biñuela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nacional's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Prensadito Fulbo Clu the free kick. 31 minutes into the match, Prensadito Fulbo Clu's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Bañuelos came free, but Celedonio Lobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mero Tenorio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gabriel Biñuela made in the 41st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Mero Tenorio however managed to control. Nacional's Katia Villalobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Xabier in the 42nd minute of play. Elpidio Ellande was extremely unlucky when he, in the 43rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Astor Xabier kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elpidio Ellande to make the kick off. Celedonio Lobo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 58th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. Celedonio Lobo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zenon Señor in the 64th minute. Katia Villalobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Xabier in the 74th minute of play. Katia Villalobos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Ellande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Prensadito Fulbo Clu's Astor Xabier got a free kick in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Prensadito Fulbo Clu fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nacional had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
