Doriva Simão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tony Dias's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Classe A Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Túlio Hermes came free, but Doriva Simão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes, Cipriano de Mendonça mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Classe A Futebol Clube and the CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Classe A Futebol Clube's Cipriano de Mendonça got a free kick in the 13th minute. Vito Vidal was a little too slow when Kléber Pernambucano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-1. After 21 minutes, Edinho Aparecido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE and the Classe A Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card.
