Brenton Carrasco charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brenton Carrasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Varennes getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Brenton Carrasco hit a great ball. Eugene Levine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of AS Pikachuzim booed when Varennes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brenton Carrasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Varennes's Eugene Levine proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Varennes from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor da Fonseca got free with Eugene Levine in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 66 played minutes Varennes got a freekick which was hit by Gale Laliberté. After 67 minutes, Tiago Lira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AS Pikachuzim walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
