The audience was convinced that Gale Laliberté's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damian Wallach was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Damian Wallach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gale Laliberté in the 52nd minute of play. Izydor Wyrostek charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Izydor Wyrostek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 62 minutes into the match, Varennes's goal looked a bit too open when Benedykt Flis came free, but Eugene Levine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugene Levine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedykt Flis in the 63rd minute of the match. Arden Turner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adolphe Murdock kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Varennes's Elias Pereira got a free kick in the 86th minute. Cezary Moizuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Varennes were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
