Lauren Van Den Abeele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Min Ordoña stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebbe Smits's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute Circus BAF were awarded a corner. Matteo Van Halbeeck went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Circus BAF's Matteo Van Halbeeck to fire away a dangerous shot which Min Ordoña despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 9 played minutes AFC Viola Gigliati got a freekick which was hit by Waldir Velaz. When Sebbe Smits fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Circus BAF's protests and gave Sebbe Smits a yellow card for diving instead. Sebbe Smits hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebbe Smits in the 16th minute of play forced AFC Viola Gigliati's goalkeeper Min Ordoña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Circus BAF's Jouni Van Landschoot got a free kick in the 19th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Samuel Horduña managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Viola Gigliati's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Horduña was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jannic Puttemas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jannic Puttemas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Velaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute of the match, Jouni Van Landschoot tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Min Ordoña saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Min Ordoña successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Samuel Horduña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Min Ordoña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebbe Smits, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Santio Marco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jouni Van Landschoot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Min Ordoña made a huge save. If Josue Pinazas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jouni Van Landschoot in the 53rd minute of play forced AFC Viola Gigliati's goalkeeper Min Ordoña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Circus BAF booed when AFC Viola Gigliati was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quentin Odoardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Min Ordoña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lauren Van Den Abeele in the 56th minute of play. Min Ordoña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebbe Smits, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, AFC Viola Gigliati's goal looked a bit too open when Lauren Van Den Abeele came free, but Min Ordoña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Min Ordoña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steffe Van De Wijngaert in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Circus BAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matteo Van Halbeeck to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 63 minutes, Waldir Velaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Viola Gigliati's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldir Velaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AFC Viola Gigliati's Ilazki Esquivel was substituted for Josue Pinazas. In the 82nd minute Jouni Van Landschoot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Min Ordoña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Ilazki Esquivel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Viola Gigliati fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to Circus BAF getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Sebbe Smits hit a great ball. Frutos Sator kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Boris Wiechgers fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 97th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
