Spectators: 7961 (Terracing: 5972, Seating: 1831, VIP seats: 158) FC BaLiSt's Florin Braica started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mihai Ciolpan kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Traian Muscaș in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Min Ordoña saved AFC Viola Gigliati from getting behind. The FC BaLiSt fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when FC BaLiSt's Traian Muscaș looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Traian Muscaș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Viola Gigliati's zone, Claudiu Floreanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Min Ordoña came out of the goal and Claudiu Floreanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute, Traian Muscaș ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Min Ordoña was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience was convinced that Traian Muscaș's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Min Ordoña was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. A collision led to FC BaLiSt getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Mihăiţă Corbeanu hit a great ball. In the 36th minute AFC Viola Gigliati were awarded a corner. Enrico Cicero went to the cornerflag to take it. AFC Viola Gigliati's Enrico Cicero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leonard Baran in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florin Braica in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Min Ordoña prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in FC BaLiSt's zone, Josue Pinazas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonard Baran came out of the goal and Josue Pinazas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Josue Pinazas struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Leonard Baran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Viola Gigliati. A collision led to AFC Viola Gigliati getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Samuel Horduña hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuel Horduña made a kick off. Samuel Horduña's late challenge caught a FC BaLiSt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
